SYNERGY:  Decor Inspired by Global Travel

We opened Synergy, our home decor shop and mini-boutique located at The Barn in Castle Rock, because we were inspired by the wonderful mix of handmade decorative accessories we found while on cruises to foreign ports of call.  We wanted to showcase collections of items made by artisans in many coutries along with vintage and new home decor. Please contact us with any questions about the shop or our merchandise.

At Synergy you can find unique new and found objects that capture the essence of traditional decor with a "world traveler" feel. The eclectic mix of merchandise includes furniture, baskets, artwork, glass, pottery, wood, rugs, metal objects, gemstone and vintage globes, clothing, belts, scarves, and gift items.

We enjoy shopping for interesting and often one-of-a-kind items for the store to create unique vignettes for your home.  Part of the appeal is that our new merchandise is almost always priced well below the suggested retail, making it even more fun to browse the store.

Sari skirts are here!

In our boutique, we are excited to present the HOT new item for Spring and summer. 

Sold in 38 countries, these wrap around skirts are handmade by women in an Indian village who use VINTAGE silk sari cloth, so NO NEW MANUFACTURING for this "green" product. One size fits all but they come in three lengths (a medium length is shown on the mannequin below). Each reversible skirt is made from two layers of different fabrics with amazing mixes of colors and patterns.  Each skirt is unique, and can be worn in many ways as a skirt, top, dress, or cover-up.

Also, come check out our framed retro movie posters and our hip collection of Vy & Elle bags, featured on the Rachael Ray show and in the New York Times.  This is a wonderful "green" product made of recycled vinyl highway billboard signs.  More than 40 tons of billboard material have been saved from landfills so far.  We have shopping bags, shown below, as well as purses, CD holders, lunch bags, back packs, and more.

We still have beautiful 60 by 13 inch Italian scarves.  Hardly any two are alike and the colors, patterns, and textures are lovely.  These are a fantastic buy at $8.50.

We love arranging vignettes with a world traveler feel

We are very excited about our imported handmade Russian art, especially the Colorado sports teams nesting dolls. Avalanche, Rockies, and some "Elway" Broncos sets have just arrived.  Each of the five dolls in a set has a team member’s name and number.   What a great gift for your sports enthusiasts at $35.00 and $45.00. Orders for dolls of other teams are also possible.  Just contact us through the website.  The Russian lacquer boxes, birch boxes and barrettes, and blown glass animals are also great buys.
